we drove from Reykjavik to Snaefellsnes on a stormy sunny moody day, mostly following the water. the light varied from abysmal to amazing, changing within minutes, and sometimes so surreal that it seemed almost fake. this is a typical shot of the rather bleak yet subtly beautiful shoreline when the sun was hiding behind the rapidly-shifting clouds.
pp notes: this shot is from the raw file, with no adjustments other than levels/exposure and vibrance, as close a representation as possible of what the eye saw.
