This is Hobbs Brook Basin.
This series of photographs demonstrate the limitations of what can be done in-camera. When faced with an icy white scene the camera either makes everything mid-grey or blows out the highlights. Once I have the time and expertise I will adjust the colour curve in lightroom/photoshop and re-post the image for comparison.
