Reykjavik Sunset

one of the most amazing aspects of Iceland was the light. the few hours of day were bathed in a perpetual early morning / late afternoon glow, and there were commonly horizon-hugging clouds which reflected and refracted light, bouncing it around in colours both subtle and vivid.

though the subtler skies sometimes need pp to coax out the details seen by the naked eye, this shot is straight from the camera, (ev -0.67, no pp). it barely begins to capture how beautiful the light and clouds were.
