I get the impression that water is shifting at a great rate.
Dangerous currents there?

@grouser: well spotted - Race Rocks gets its name due to the strong currents that surge past. it's at the narrowest point in the strait between Canada and the US, and the water of the Georgia Strait, Puget Sound and Haro Strait flows through this channel as the tides rise and fall. these currents reportedly can reach speeds of up to 9 knots.

reminds me to get my polarizer out of the draw and into my camera backpack, I keep forgetting to and this shot shows the beautiful colors that you can get with one, beautiful shot, I would love to visit this place and see this beautiful scenery your sharing with us
