An industrial-strength shot...I love these urban landscapes full of mysterious scaffoldings and ominously electrical-looking stuff.

@Pied Crow: thanks. though my first love is probably nature / landscape photography, there's something very appealing about architectural and industrial shots. usually I think the hard core industrial shots look good in B+W, but I liked the odd rusty tone in this almost-monochrome image.

@danthro: I find these alleyways sort of gnarly and spooky and scary... wouldn't really want to walk through them in daylight and wouldn't go near them at night. perhaps any awkwardness reflects that feeling.

@bluechameleon: thanks. this was an almost accidental shot - I was wandering around trying to figure out what had become of the No 10 bus route. when I lived in Vancouver / when I last visited, Granville St hadn't yet been ripped up :)
