visitors to vancouver fall into two camps: those who adore the city and those who are lukewarm at best. vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities on earth but also one of the wettest... when the sun shines visitors fall in love, but if they never see the sun they remember only damp grey days.

this image is of canada place, a convention centre in downtown vancouver. across the water of the burrard inlet, north vancouver is getting its dose of rain.
