Seaplane III: Gulf Islands

@Ana Lúcia: I love flying in seaplanes. this one was 'large' - two pilots and about ten passengers. the smaller ones are six-seaters: when you fly you almost forget that you're in a machine since it feels as though you are suspended between the mountains sea and sky... brilliant.

@GJC: there's something very immediate about flying in a seaplane: nothing like the usual feeling of being trapped in the aluninium tube of an aircraft, but more like being suspended between sea and sky with only the thinnest skin as insulation. might not be for those who suffer from vertigo :)
