these two lithuanian boats, the sekme and treimani, were abandoned at the wharf in bay roberts in 2002, after having sat there for many months while their crews went unpaid. the boats' original owners shirked their responsibilities and the boats have slowly rusted, creating both an eyesore and environmental blight. the canadian government recently announced that they were finally going to pay to have the boats scrapped.

sorry I haven't been visiting many blogs or commenting much recently: I have had a lot of technological challenges so haven't been able to get online.
