Pelican Aloft

@Craig: I have to admit I was somewhat obsessive about pelicans during this trip... :) they are such cool funky birds.

@danthro: yes the pelican could have done with some sharpening... I found it remarkably challenging to capture them in flight: not sure if that was just my slow reflexes or the fact that the borrowed lens I was using was slow and had a very shallow depth of field even at its shorter extensions.
