I am travelling at the moment so here's one from the archives. As always thanks for visiting and for your comments.
These monks had just come in from vigourous debating. The peace and dark and sonorous chanted prayers were a contrast with all the brilliantly sunlit shouting and shoving that had gone on shortly before.
This shot was taken without flash or a tripod: the yak butter lamps (said to purify supplicants' souls) provided some illumination.
