Winter Reflections

This image came straight from the camera with no post-processing other than a resize for uploading to aminus3.

I've been avoiding doing any post-processing recently, partly because I have an ancient version of photoshop and poor photoshop skills, and largely because I am trying to really get to grips with my camera's capabilities. There is a limit to what can be done in-camera, especially when it comes to managing the curve. The current no post-processing philosophy certainly contributes to the relatively-lower contrast in many of my images but I think I have a sense of what you're getting at. Thanks, I think :-)

After taking a lot of aesthetically boring but technically challenging shots recently I'm starting to feel that I'm developing a solid sense of the camera's range. There will certainly be a lot of learning to do about post-processing in my future!
